United States Ambassador to Israel, David Friedman told the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations on Sunday evening that President Donald Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital was "bold and courageous".
Addressing the Conference's 44th Israel Leadership Mission, Friedman continued, "It was also a watershed moment, a demonstration that the President will keep his word and do what is right for the United States even if the world objects. It was a vote for reality over fantasy and, in time, it will be viewed as a successful turning point in the quest for peace within the region."
