Chairman Avi Nissenkorn of the Histadrut Labor Federation has written to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz, calling on them to stop what he calls "unfair competition and discrimination against Israeli airlines as opposed to foreign airlines."
Nissenkorn sent his letter following the government's intention to allow Indian company AIR INDIA to fly to and from Israel over Saudi Arabia - a route significantly shorter than that of Israeli companies.
