The Ministerial Committee on Legislation approved on Sunday, an amendment to the provisions of the Sports Law, formulated jointly with all the sports unions and associations, which states that for the first time, coaching will be recognized as a profession and in order to practice it, a valid license will be required, which will ensure that convicted criminals and those who do not meet the ethical and professional standards cannot be trained.

Moreover, from now on the law will require the coaches to renew their licenses and to participate in regular training programs, which will help improve the professionalism of the coaches and maintain a high level in favor of the advancement of athletes and sports in Israel.
