Serious deterioration was recorded on Monday evening (Israel time) in the condition of Rabbi Mordechai Hager, the Admor of Vizhnitz Monsey, who has been hospitalized for two months at the Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan.
The Admor, known as the "Elder of the Admorim" because of his advanced age - 94, underwent a complicated medical procedure during the past week to ease his condition after being in and out of the hospital in recent weeks. Chasidic leaders are asking for prayers on behalf of Harav Mordechai ben Margali.
