The Supreme Court has rejected the appeal of Yosef Haim Ben-David, the convicted murderer of the 16-year-old Muhammad Abu-Khdeir of Jerusalem's Shuafat neighborhood, following the kidnap murder of three Jewish teens by Hamas in 2014.

Ben-David was sentenced to life imprisonment and another 20 years in prison. In his appeal he claimed that he was not sane when he committed the murder, but the court rejected his claims.
