Minister of Religion calls to give chief rabbis bodyguards after death threats

Religion Minister David Azoulay (Shas) called on Israel's two chief rabbis to receive government-funded bodyguards after a Hamas video showed them in crosshairs, along with former MK Moshe Feiglin. "I would like to act as soon as possible to clarify the threat vis-a-vis the relevant parties and to ensure the immediate security of the Chief Rabbi of Israel until the threat is removed," wrote Azoulay to Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan.
