Yesh Atid MK defends Peri: 'Few of us can say we contributed to Israel's security like he did'

Yesh Atid MK Ofer Shelach defended former MK Yaakov Peri, who resigned on Wednesday over suspicions of handing Aryeh Deri classified intel regarding a police investigation against him while he ran the Shin Bet. "Only a few in Israel can say that they contributed to its security like Yaakov Perr," said Shelach. "Few carried the responsibility they had and only a few showed up for work every day to save the lives of Israelis".
