The Knesset has approved the final readings of an amendment by Member of Knesset Roy Folkman (Kulanu) to the Planning and Building Law, which is intended to deal with the high prices in the rental market and with the fact that the State of Israel currently has no significant long-term rental market.
The law is intended to allow tens of thousands of housing units for long-term rental to be built at a reduced price.
