The Yesha Council of Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria has congratulated the cabinet on its decision to authorize the Samarian Jewish outpost of Havat Gilad, in the wake of the murder by terrorists of Havat Gilad resident Raziel Shevach. A statement by the council said, "This is an important step that constitutes a proper Zionist response to terror, which will prove that we are deepening our hold on the land. This step should turn into the government's policy of establishing new settlements and arranging existing settlements as part of its ongoing activities."
The statement concluded, "We are certain that the security forces will get their hand on the terrorist who has not yet been captured, and wish them a safe and healthy return to their homes."
