The police have completed the investigation of a 56-year-old resident of Jericho who is suspected of hitting soldiers with a vehicle on January 19th near the Qasr Al-Yahud baptism site on the River Jordan.
Last Thursday the suspect was brought before the Ofer military court for a hearing, his remand was extended by five days for the purpose of filing of an indictment and a request was submitted for detention until the end of proceedings.
