Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu advised Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas against shutting the United States out of diplomatic efforts involving Israel. Addressing a gathering of ambassadors at the Foreign Ministry, he said, "I have a message to Abu Mazen - there is no substitute for an American leadership leading the peace process."
Netanyahu also said. "I have a message to the European countries - I suggest that they listen to the Trump and if they want security then it is important to make changes on the Iranian nuclear agreement."
