The Supreme Court has rejected a petition submitted by Temple Mount organizations and activists, claiming blatant discrimination by police between religious and non-religious Jews.
Saying "We found it difficult to get a clear answer regarding some of the other arguments raised by the petitioners," the judges wrote in the verdict that they were convinced that the conduct of the police stems from assessments of the situation that require it to proceed in this manner.
