After the haredi attacks on him, Defense Minister Liberman is unrepentant over his visit to an Ashdod mall on Shabbat and claimed that the haredim are trying by legislation to change the status quo and therefore he felt he could not remain silent.
Liberman added that "we don't want a haredi state" but said he does not intend to dismantle the coalition over this issue.
