Syrian government forces on Saturday reached the rebel-held Abu Dhuhour air base in Syria's northern Idlib province, state TV reported Saturday.
Government-backed forces have for ten days fought a counter-offense by the rebels and al-Qaeda terrorists. They currently surround the base from three sides.
