Rabbi Yaakov Medan, Rabbi Eli Sadan, and Rabbi Haim Druckman, among the most senior of Religious Zionist rabbis, penned a letter supporting IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot, a day after Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu demanded for the IDF's commander to be fired.
"We wanted to thank you for the moves you have made helping Israel's security - and for the moves to turn the IDF into a people's army that everyone will feel comfortable with," wrote the rabbis.
