The Supervisory Unit of the Civil Administration received Tuesday a report about tree cutting activities in the Gevaot region in Gush Etzion.
Two people were found by supervisors cutting down pine trees. The residents fled when the supervisors arrived but their equipment including saws, donkeys and logs was confiscated.
Civil Administration officials said that tree cutting has become more popular in the last few years, especially in the winter months.
