Air Force Commander General Amikam Norkin appointed a female officer to lead a squadron.
T, a transport plane pilot, will be raised to the rank of lieutenant-colonel and will be the first woman to hold this rank.
Norkin also appointed M, an air traffic controller to take charge of the control unit and raised her rank to lieutenant-colonel.
