Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked claimed in a Channel 2 interview that the Supermarket Law will not significantly change the situation.
Shaked said in response to MK Gafni's claim that he would bring non-Jewish inspectors that the new law would not change the status quo.
She also said that she was not averse to future changes in the delicate relations between the religious and secular public but stated that the changes must be agreed upon.
