Omrix-Biopharmaceuticals has decided to recall certain batches of its Omr-IgG-AM ™ 5% medication and Omri Hep B ™ 5% for Hepatitis B from the market as a precautionary measure due to concerns about the aseptic conditions during filling, which may affect the sterility of the products.
Patients who have unused products from these bundles are being told to immediately stop their use and are requested to return them to the pharmacy of the health funds. In addition, patients are requested to contact their healthcare provider in order to accommodate alternative treatment and continue their routine medical supervision. Omrix has identified the cause and is taking corrective actions.
