Minister of Environmental Protection Ze'ev Elkin told Chairman Hananel Dorani of the Yesha Council of Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria on Monday that his ministry has received a budget supplement of half a billion shekels to deal with environmental damage in Judea, Samaria and the Jordan Valley.
Calling the allocation "uprecedented", Elkin said "This is to bring about a dramatic change that will improve the standard of living of the residents and will contribute greatly to the environment."
