The extreme leftist organization Yesh Din has withdrawn its petition against the allocation of state land for the establishment of the Samarian Jewish community of Amichai for those Jews evicted from Amona.
About six months ago, when the construction of Amichai began, Yesh Din and the head of the village council from nearby Jalud petitioned against the allocation of state land for the community, claiming that the villagers of Jalud were not allowed to oppose the move and insist on their rights. The petition was withdrawn when it became clear that it was a matter of state land.
