In the latest in a series of anti-Semitic incidents in France, a Jewish teenager studying in the Merkaz Hatorah school had her face slashed by an unidentified assailant on a street in the Paris suburb of Sarcelles, just days after the suspected torching of two kosher shops near Paris including a Hyper Cacher, one of the network of shops in which a terror attack occured three years ago.
François Pupponi, a politician in the lower house of France’s parliament and former mayor of Sarcelles called Wednesday's assault on the 15-year-old alleged victim “an heinous anti-Semitic attack.”
