MK Betzalel Smotrich eulogized Rabbi Raziel Shevach, describing him as "a neighbor, an acquaintance. A Torah scholar. A father of six children. A holy martyr. He breathed his last breaths next to me.
"Another sacrifice for inhabiting the Holy Land in the difficult process of redemption. This is a harsh evening but we will not surrender or weaken. We will continue to hold on to the Holy Land with dedication and love. May G-d avenge his blood and send us all comfort."
