The German Foreign Ministry invited the Iranian ambassador in Berlin for a reprimand after an Pakistani citizen was convicted of spying for Iran against Jewish officials in Germany as well as against Israel.
Diplomatic elements in Berlin stressed that the actions of Iran "are unacceptable and illegal" and added "you must immediately cease spying against Israel or any other country on German soil."
The German secret services claimed that Iran targeted Israeli and Jewish elements in order to carry out attacks against them.
