The Knesset has started a roll-call vote on the final readings of a bill to give the interior ministry the last word on businesses that are allowed to open on the Jewish Sabbath.
Opposition objections were defeated. The vote on the objections was interrupted when one of them was accidentally approved, sending the matter back to committee.
