The Knesset State Control Committee has instructed the State Comptroller to prepare a follow-up report to the State Comptroller's opinion on the serious failures in bringing the remaining Ethiopian Jews to Israel, published in 2008, which will examine the difference in relation to the immigration of Ethiopian Jews in comparison with other ethnic and geographical groups.
8,000 Ethiopian Jews are still refused immigration to Israel despite a series of previous government decisions.
