The official value of the shekel rose an average of .316 percent on Monday against most of the featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list.
The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.441, down .145 percent, while the Euro declined .679 percent to 4.1242 shekels and the pound sterling was set at 4.6589 shekels, down .111 percent. The Canadian dollar was fixed at NIS 2.7728, up .621 percent.
