Chairman Yoel Hasson of the Zionist Union Knesset faction responded to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's remarks at the Likud faction meeting regarding a possible offset of votes on the Supermarkets Law between Knesset members Moti Yogev and Yossi Yona, both of whom will miss the vote because they are in mourning.

The bill seeks to give the interior minister the last word on Shabbat business openings. The opposition coordinator said, "I heard that the prime minister is waiting for an answer from the opposition about offsetting the [votes on the] supermarket law. The answer is clear Prime Minister: There are no offsets."
