A truck driver lost control and collided with six cars near the Mitzpeh junction above Tiberias.
Seven people were transferred to the Poriya hospital, six in light condition and one in moderate condition.
The truck driver was detained for investigation by police. Road 77 at the entrance to Tiberias is closed to traffic.
