The 5-member committee controlling the tomb of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai at Meron announced that 10 Torah scrolls donated to the site require fixing. Four have already been fixed and six have been taken for fixing.
The committee said that it would establish regulations regarding donated Torah scrolls to ensure their kosher status and said that the scrolls ought to be in excellent condition.
