Following the Costa Rica plane crash, Chairman of Israel-based group ZAKA Yehuda Meshi Zahav said,
"The remains of the dead will arrive in the next few hours with a representative of the Jewish community to the government identification department. I spoke with Chabad emissary Rabbi Levi Wilhelm in the morning (local time) and we will decide whether we should fly a team to collect tissue from the scene of the crash.
"We are ready at any time to dispatch teams according to need," said Meshi Zahav.
