Police arrested six caregivers this morning in retirement homes in Petah Tikva and Rehovot on suspicion of violence against elderly patients.
It is suspected that the violence consisted of pulling the elderly's hair, pulling an elderly woman forcibly to get her from the chair to the bed, throwing a towel in the face of an elderly man after wiping him, pulling an elderly woman by her head to remove her from a wheelchair and put her in bed, throwing a diaper at the face of an elderly woman, hitting an elderly woman in the leg and hitting another elderly woman in the face, as well as throwing pillows at the head of an elderly man.
