A 72-year-old Arab was taken to the Hashmonaim checkpoint without a pulse and not breathing after what appeared to be a heart attack.
The man was brought by a family member to the checkpoint in the hope of finding medical care in Israel.
MDA members and checkpoint staff provided initial treatment which included a defibrillator found at the scene. The Palestinian's pulse returned within minutes and he was taken to Tel Hashomer hospital.
