Former Deputy Chief of Staff Golan: 'Lack of Palestinian unity- a security asset'

Major General Yair Golan, a former deputy chief of staff, said that Israel benefits from the lack of unity between the different Palestinian Arab factions. "The lack of unity in the Palestinian world and the separation between Judea and Samaria and Gaza is a significant security asset for us," said Golan in a speech at the Jerusalem Center for Strategic Studies.
