A special meeting took place at Shaarei Tzedek hospital between the MDA team which treated Asher Almaliah, the security guard stabbed and critically injured at Jerusalem's central bus station and the family of the security guard.
The meeting was also attended by Batsheva Assayag, the girl on national service who provided initial medical attention to Almaliah, which kept him alive until the MDA team arrived on the scene.
Almaliah was rushed to hospital and was in the operation room nine minutes after the stabbing attack, enabling doctors to save his life.
