The Likud Knesset faction has unanimously approved the appointment of Member of Knesset David Amsalem as its chairman and chairman of the coalition.
The faction also decided Monday to continue advancing MK Amsalem's bill for state funding of candidates in party primaries by a vote of 18-2 with two abstentions.
