Histadrut Chairman Avi Nissenkorn, Finance Ministry Director-General Shai Babad, and the Ministry of Finance's Director of Wages, Eran Yaakov, have reached understandings regarding improving the salary and employment conditions of some 1,000 local Israeli workers employed by some 90 Israeli missions around the world, which were approved by the Interministerial Committee for Wages and Conditions of Service Abroad.
Among the provisions of the arrangement: raising wages, financing the expenses of relocating abroad against a minimum service commitment, increasing pension savings and a grant of 10,000 shekels.
