Primaries funding law approved for second,third reading

The Knesset House Committee approved for second and third reading the Primaries Funding Bill initiated by MK David Amsalem (Likud).

The bill was approved after the committee agreed to advise the Knesset plenum to remove the clause granting 50,000 NIS to each party in which primaries are not taking place.

The clause will not be part of the law unless the plenum agrees to include it.
