The members of the committee determining the annual health basket will hold their second session regarding 110 medicines and technologies deemed most important and vital for sick persons at a cost of 1.3 billion NIS.
The committee will review the costs of the medicines and numbers of people being treated by them after previous discussions focused on scientific evidence and doctors union recommendations. The final meeting will take place later in the week after which the medicine budget will be published.
