Chief Rabbi David Lau referred to the UN vote condemning US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital and stated that the connection between Israel and Jerusalem does not need proof or foreign approval, but added that the strength of our connection to Jerusalem in the eyes of the world depends on what Israel does and not what the nations will say.

"When we are united and certain that this is our capital and we realize how significant it is, not only 65 countries will reject resolutions but many many more," Lau said.
