Authorities revealed Friday morning that the terrorists responsible for the murder of an 18-year-old IDF soldier in Arad recently had planned to capture the soldier and hold him captive, in a bid to win the release of jailed terrorists.
On Thursday, November 30th, one of the two terrorists attacked Ron Yitzhak Kukia, an off-duty soldier from Tel Aviv, at a bus stop outside of a shopping center in Arad.
The terrorist stabbed Kukia to death, then fled the scene with the aid of the second suspect
According to an indictment filed against the two revealed that they had planned to kidnap an IDF soldier in an effort to force Israel to release jailed Arab terrorists as part of a prisoner release.
