Two soldiers suspected of violent behavior towards another soldier were remanded in custody until Sunday in order to complete the investigation of the incident.
The soldiers defense counsel stated that "the investigation is in its final stages and evidence is growing that the soldier who submitted the complaint used violence against our clients who stress their innocence.
"Unfortunately despite a meeting held with the soldier and other testimony, the investigators have not investigated the soldier in a way that will reach the truth. We emphasize that there is no basis for claiming the dispute was racially motivated.
