Israel's UN ambassador asked why the UN had not condemned Palestinian violence and days of rage in the wake of American recognition of Jerusalem.
Danon said "if this body is really committed to peace, it would pass a resolution against violence." He added that the UN is permitting the Palestinians to commit violence in the name of Jerusalem, the city of peace.
