US ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley said at the UN that the decision to recognize Jerusalem reflects the will of the American people but does not harm peace efforts at all and does not preclude a two-state solution.
Haley said that the US will remember the day they were attacked for exercising their right to place their embassy as a sovereign nation.
