The General Assembly of the United Nations will meet on Thursday in New York in an emergency session following United States President Donald Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
The debate was initiated by Turkey and Yemen, and comes after the United States vetoed a similar proposal by Egypt in the Security Council. There is no veto in the General Assembly.
