At least 3 people were killed and 70 required medical treatment after a train derailed on its maiden trip over a busy motorway near Seattle.
There were no fatalities among the motorists, even though cars and trucks were hit by the falling carriages.
Officials stated that the train was travelling at 130 km per hour at a point where the maximum permitted speed is 50 km per hour.
