The Jerusalem Magistrates Court has convicted engineer Oren Warshavsky and security adviser Yitzhak Zucker on charges of negligent homicide and two counts of causing injury in the death of soldier Hila Bezaleli and the injury of six others who were struck by a lighting fixture during rehearsals for Independence Day celebrations in 2012, according to News 2.

The two were not included in the plea bargain reached with most of the defendants in the case about a year ago, following pressure from the Bezaleli family. The others received sentences of a few months in prison.
