The Knesset has approved the first reading of the proposed Water and Sewage Corporations Law, which would obligate the Local Authority Council to reduce the number of water and sewage corporations around the country to 11.
The bill was proposed by a group led by Members of Knesset Itzik Shmuli (Zionist Union) and Oren Hazan (Likud). It now goes to committee for fine tuning.
