The Political-Security Cabinet accepted the recommendation of the Attorney General, Avichai Mandelblit, to request another hearing in the Supreme Court on the subject of the bodies of terrorists.
Cabinet ministers made it clear that the bodies of the terrorists would not be returned and that the principles set out in the majority opinion of the judges were unacceptable. Legislative proceedings will not be advanced at this stage until a response is received from the court to hold an additional hearing.
