According to Israel Hayom, US VP Mike Pence will be the first senior American official to visit the Western Wall on a visit that will not be defined as private.
Pence will be accompanied by an official representative of Israel, apparently at the rank of minister, due to the American recognition of Jerusalem that President Donald Trump recently announced. Pence's visit is scheduled for Wednesday.
